Our Packaging

All of our powdered products are packaged in FDA grade HDPE plastic containers. As long as these containers are stored in a climate controlled environment, the plastic has absolutely no effect on the clay itself.

However, once clay is hydrated (mixed with water), its ion exchange capacity is extremely powerful. We recommend storing hydrated clay in plastic only for shorter periods of time if clay is to be used internally. Better yet, once clay is hydrated, it's best to store it in a glass or ceramic container.

All of our hydrated clays (when available) are shipped in hermetically sealed glass containers.
